What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the website remember your preferences, recognize your repeat visits, and understand how the site is used.
We also use similar technologies (local storage, session storage) that work like cookies for some functions.
How we use cookies
We try to keep our cookie usage minimal. The cookies we use fall into the following categories:
Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are required for the website to function. They cannot be disabled.

Storage that is not a cookie
Three things are kept in your browser’s own storage rather than in a cookie. They are never sent automatically with a request the way a cookie is. The first two are only read when you actually submit one of our forms; the third only keeps one visit from being counted twice. We are listing them here because, cookie or not, they are still information stored on your device.

You can remove all three at any time by clearing site data for this website in your browser settings.
Analytics cookies
We set no analytics cookies, so there is nothing in this table. The site counts its visits itself, on our own servers and without any cookie: when you arrive from outside the site, it records the time, your country (read from the network, your IP address is not stored), the website you came from (only its address, never what you were looking at there) and the page you landed on. Nothing in it identifies you or your device; we use it only to see how people find us.

We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or cross-site profiling cookies.
Third-party cookies
Some services we use may set their own cookies:
- Cloudflare (security and performance): strictly necessary cookies for bot detection
- Zoom (video meetings), only once you follow the joining link for a booked consultation. That happens on Zoom’s own site, under their cookie policy. Choosing a time on our booking page sets no cookies at all.
- Resend (email tracking pixels): included in transactional emails. You can disable image loading in your email client to prevent these from loading.
Managing cookies
You can control cookies in several ways:
Nothing to accept or reject: we set no advertising, analytics or profiling cookies, so there is no consent banner and no preferences to manage. Everything in the table above is needed for the website to work at all, which is why it cannot be switched off separately.
Your browser: every modern browser lets you view, delete, and block cookies. Look in your browser’s settings (usually under “Privacy” or “Security”). Note that blocking all cookies may break parts of the website.
Opt-out tools: for analytics-style tracking, you can use the “Do Not Track” setting in your browser. We respect this signal where technically feasible.
Cookies and EU visitors
The ePrivacy Directive and GDPR require explicit consent before any non-essential cookie is set. We set none, so no consent is asked for. The cookies listed above are strictly necessary, which means they are exempt: they exist only to deliver something you asked for, such as staying signed in after you have signed in. If we ever add an advertising or analytics cookie, we will ask first.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when our cookie usage changes or when laws are updated. Check the “Last reviewed” date below for the current version.
