Diploma of Aviation CPL (165hrs) and MEIR

The Commercial Pilot Package is Sydney Flight College's full time route from no previous flying experience to a commercial licence with an instrument rating. It combines three qualifications, AVI50222 Diploma of Aviation (Commercial Pilot Licence - Aeroplane), AVI50519 Diploma of Aviation (Instrument Rating) and UPRT.

Students start in single engine aircraft such as the Piper Archer LX & TX, in which the commercial flight test is flown. The instrument phase is a Multi-Engine Instrument Rating and brings the Multi-Engine Class Rating with it, delivered on the Piper Seminole and on full motion Redbird simulators. The course is listed at 201 flying hours, 21 simulator hours and 420 theory hours in total over 21 months, with an expected 35 hours of self study a week.

Upset Prevention Recovery Training are also part of this package. Listed inclusions are flying, fuel, landing fees, simulator, theory, theory books, briefings, the primary instructor, exam costs and flight test costs for first attempts only, the student training manual, SFC facilities and member benefits.

The cost for Food and accommodation is AUD $35.360,00 per annum.
