Before a training flight, a long look up

For parents

Your child wants to fly. We help you both decide well.

Pilot training is a big step for a family, and a big cost. We help you find out early whether flying suits your child, compare real schools and real costs, and apply with someone at your side.

01 The worry

A big step for your child, and a big cost for your family.

Pilot training asks a lot of time and money, so the worry is normal. Our job is to replace it with facts, early, before anyone signs anything.

Is flying right for my child? And can we afford it?

Two questions. This page answers both.

Is flying right for my child?

Find out early whether flying suits them

The aptitude test and Career-Fit show strengths and gaps before your family spends a lot of money. If flying is not right, you found out early, and it cost you nothing.

Can we afford it?

See the real costs before anyone commits

Course fees, living costs and the exchange rate, country by country. And we say openly who pays us.

Who pays, and what it costs

02 The money

Clear about who pays, clear about the costs

Our school advisory is free for students, and we say why.

Partner flight schools pay us a fee when a student we helped enrols. Your family never pays us for choosing a school.

Who pays whom

  1. Your family Aviation Connect

    Nothing for choosing a school.

  2. Partner school Aviation Connect

A fee, when a student we helped enrols.

  3. Your family The flight school

The training itself, at the school's own fees.

Family Care is a separate, paid programme, and only if your family chooses it.

03 The plan

Four steps for a family

Your child's own account, an advisor you can both talk to, and a team that checks the application before it goes to the school.

  1. A student comparing flight schools on a laptop and taking notes

Your child creates a free account

From the age of 16, with their own email. They take the aptitude test, see the schools that fit them and save the ones they like.

  2. Two students in an airliner simulator, thumbs up

Find out early whether flying suits them

The aptitude test and Career-Fit show strengths and gaps before your family spends a lot of money.

  3. A flight instructor talking with a student at the airfield

    Talk to an advisor, together

Your child can ask for a call at any time, from 16 on their own. Would you like to be part of it? Tell us, and the advisor calls at a time that suits you both.

  4. A student with his application folder at the visa application centre

Apply with someone at your side

Documents and the application go through the portal, so nothing gets lost. Our team checks everything before it goes to the school, and tells you what the student visa asks for.

04 Their data

Used to help, never sold.

  • Used to match your child with schools, and to help when they apply.
  • Shared with a school only when your child asks us to.
  • The account can be downloaded or deleted at any time.

05 Your questions

What parents ask us

What does it cost?
Our school advisory is free for students. The training itself is paid to the school. Every course fee on our site starts with "from", and the budget estimator adds living costs.
How old does my child have to be?
An account is possible from 16. Each school's page says what it asks of a student before training starts.
Can I join the call?
Yes. Tell us when you ask for the call, and the advisor calls at a time that suits you both.
What if flying is not right for my child?
Then you found out early, and it cost you nothing. The aptitude test and an honest conversation come before anyone signs anything.
