Aviation Flight (Associate of Applied Science)

Spartan College's flagship FAA Part 141 pilot program, delivered as an Associate of Applied Science degree at the Tulsa, Oklahoma main campus.

The 17-month curriculum covers Private Pilot, Instrument Rating, Commercial Single- and Multi-Engine Pilot certificates and Certified Flight Instructor ratings. Graduates qualify for the Restricted ATP certificate at 1,250 hours instead of the standard 1,500, a meaningful head start toward an airline First Officer seat.

Students train on a fleet of approximately 50 aircraft (Piper Archer TX, Piper Seminole) at Tulsa Riverside Airport (KRVS), with a Frasca simulator and a full-motion Redbird Advanced Aviation Training Device. Spartan is a partner in the American Airlines Cadet Academy and SkyWest Pilot Career Pathway.
