Perkasa Flight School

Perkasa Flight School, operated by PT Mitra Aviasi Perkasa, is one of Indonesia's largest and longest-established international flight academies. Founded in 2013, it has trained more than 450 cadets from countries including Vietnam, South Korea, Malaysia, Laos, Libya, and the Maldives. The school holds Indonesian DGCA Pilot School Certificate PSC-141-017 and is additionally approved by the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam and the Department of Civil Aviation of Laos, a genuine advantage for graduates targeting airline jobs across Southeast Asia.

Training runs from three bases: Tunggul Wulung Airport in Cilacap, Nusawiru Airport in Pangandaran, and Cakrabuana Airport in Cirebon, coordinated from a head office in South Jakarta. Programs cover the full DGCA and ICAO pipeline, from Private Pilot License through CPL, Instrument Rating, Multi-Engine Rating, ATPL theory, and Flight Instructor Certificate, plus endorsements for foreign-trained pilots returning to Indonesia. The integrated ab-initio program runs roughly 14 to 16 months, supported by a deliberately small 1:5 aircraft-to-student ratio, with A320 and B737 simulators available through partner facilities.

For Asia-Pacific students the case is straightforward: lower training costs than Western alternatives, no winter weather delays, and a licence that converts smoothly within ASEAN airline hiring frameworks.
